So I was quite impressed when I got to my parents and saw that the little city they live in had gone for a zero water garden curb planting scheme with Euphorbia, acanthus Spinosa and some grasses mixed with centrathus. Here are the pictures to prove it. Will check it regularly and report on progress, especially in snowy weather. After all what is the hardiness in winter ?

Saturated skies. Gorgeous greens. Smoking soils. Mediterranean garden landscapes are not for everyone. Sizzling summer heat, flash flood fall precipitations and hurling winds year around make it one of the most challenging gardening climates in the world, and one of the most rewarding ! Come and explore the paths of intensity, passion and pains !

Dry Gardening and Landscaping is not the preserve of balmy climes alone
As I was travelling to Strasbourg, France, this week-end to see my parents, I found out that the local planting scheme had already moved to dry gardening. Bet you this will be a key test of a zero water garden going on this summer here. Pictures to follow soon.
